Twitter user timeline api returns only 1500 tweets

Hey, I just found out my API calls returning random number of tweets while Quering user_timeline. For searching for Microsoft as screen_name I get around 1500 tweets. But for Nike I get 3215. I thought restriction was for past 3200 tweets. But, clearly something wrong is here. any idea?

Possible answer:

Cannot retrieve all tweets with user_timeline api

They may have been deleted. Deleted tweets still count in the count parameter but not in the response

Any update on this issue? I have encountered the same thing. TandemSeven user has almost 8000 tweets since April 2009. I use screen_name='TandemSeven', count=200, exclude_replies=False, include_rts=True options and as far as I can get is to 1592 tweets.

Is it possible that there have been over 1500 tweets deleted from the timeline?
