Twitter Timeline widget class of tco-hidden causes horizontal scrollbars on mobile devices when tweet contains a long URL

#1

You can scroll to the right because the items with class .tco-hidden are positioned absolute top left, but the content still takes up space (similar to visibility:hidden).

Recommended change:

.verified b,
.tweet-actions b,
abbr.p-geo b,
.ic-twitter-badge b,
.e-entry-title a .tco-hidden,
.collapse-geo .p-geo b,
.collapse-media-tag .media-tag b {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
clip: rect(0,0,0,0);
clip: rect(0 0 0 0);

  • width: 0;
  • overflow: hidden;
    }
