Twitter status/update returns 403

I am using TwitterOAuth for twitter authentication and posting photos to twitter accounts. It was working fine suddenly it started giving me 403 error code. According to twitter response code documentation 403 means user has reached its status/update limit. But i haven’t tweeted anything for days with both my account and twitter app.
