Twitter share causing CSP and parsing error

I am just trying to implement a simple twitter share on my website pages and keep receiving a multitude errors which I assume is the reason that my card images will not display.

These may be 2 many errors to cover in one post but they are:

I cannot for the life of me work out what is going on or how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Sheree,
I don’t believe CSP has anything to do with twitter card images, they are handled by bots which should ignore CSP ( I am assuming you mean by cards, as in twitter cards displaying your link on twitter itself?).

Blocking scripts from executing could be because of CSP, the one you outlined below seems like the twitter CSP.
The second error is a bug in twitter, and it doesn’t have an impact (Not sure what they are trying to do with it, but seems like an irrelevant bug).
The first error however could be an issue. Do you have some weird browser extensions running in your browser by any chance?

Thanks for your reply.

I have disabled all my browser extensions as well as disabling all my Wordpress plugins, switching themes and trying a variety or browsers, all which generate the errors.

I am using a large image card with summary (through Yoast, though I have tried without) and even though the twitter validator displays the link correctly, when actually using it, the images do not work.

I have tried various troubleshooting recommendations with no result - leaving me to assume it is caused as a result of these errors.

I looked in my header.php file to see if I was using and semi-colons incorrectly, but I’m not. I know very little about this area but it would seem the error comes directly from Twitters own script?

OK strange.
One thing to note, is that the bot caches your card, so if you have just fixed it it may take a while (I have seen several days) before the correct card is displayed.

So the tweet button actually works properly on your website? Can you share a link where I can test? (You can DM me if you don’t want to share it here)

Yeah it’s driving me mad.

The tweet button works and actually sometimes the image card works, but most of the time it doesn’t.

If you would be willing to take a look, a direct message with the url would be great - though I’m not sure how to do that! I’ll see if I can find it.
