Hi I am using the twitter search API to retrieve tweets with specific keywords, but i find some tweets excluding some of these keywords and sometimes all of them. Any idea?

The search doesn’t just consider the tweet text - it will return results if the query matches something in a URL, or even the username too.
eg: https://twitter.com/CATS_PAWS/status/703271370801549312 & https://twitter.com/SkyNews/status/703258812828880896 come up in results if i search for https://twitter.com/search?q=cats&src=typd - neither have “cats” in tweet text.
