Twitter Public Tweets Search

I am researcher at a University. I need twitter public tweets containing a particular keyword or phrase for last one year. I tried using streaming api for search, but it only gives 4-7 days records. I need records for one year at least. Kindly guide me any method for searching one year tweets.

The Twitter API itself doesn’t provide archive data like this. You would need to consider a third party provider of Twitter data, such as Topsy or Gnip.
