Twitter:player reference help

Hi, maybe you can help me with the twitter:player reference. I’m not sure I fully understand the iframe aspect of it - does this meta tag need to point TO an iframe with the video/audio in it, or only to a page with JUST the player on it and nothing else, which twitter will create an iframe from? Has this always got to be a HTTPS too?

the twitter:player tag needs to point to a page with the video embedded in it, and stretched to fit the size of the containing iframe.
