Twitter on web is not working

If you are running AVG on Chrome and you have that little eye in the top right corner under the [x] button to close your browser, go the the eye, and allow the twitter button to be active (i.e. make sure it is not crossed out) Hit reload and it should work perfectly.

Haven’t been able to tweet from the web in days. Get the grayed out box. Can tweet from phone though. Private browsing isn’t on. I’ve logged out & logged back in several times. Reinstalled Firefox (the only browser I use). Cleared the history.
Any thing else I can do?

Glad I looked at this forum. I followed what a few people said and it worked for me.

SOLUTION: I have a PC and use firefox. I went into the menu of my internet browser and selected “new private window” and went to twitter from there. It works perfectly like before!!

This will be annoying having an extra window just so I can use twitter but I guess that’s what I’ll have to do until they fix the issue,

I am facing same weird issue.

Twitter just does not open from web many times, its just trying to load but never loads.

Hi there, I’m trying to help someone at work set up a twitter account, but having issues. For some reason the Sign Up link, keeps redirecting to a page for mobile, asking to download the app. I am just trying to access it on desktop (Windows 7).
