Twitter like count not updating

I have generated like code from “http://twitter.com/about/resources/tweetbutton” and code is “Tweet”. It looks fine in the website but when the user clicks the tweet, the link got posted in the tweeter but the count remains the same. Can anyone help me out to fix this. this happened to me as well. i am using their share api to tweet and the tweet count stays zero since the page went live 3 days ago.

I’ve also got the same problem. I see that the data-counturl=“insert url here” needs to be in the code for the tweet count to go up, but what to do if you have this code on a blog etc where the tweet button needs to pull in the url from the pages it’s on for that to work. It should be the same as the data-url.
