Twitter follow button only works on second press/click

On this page[0] there are two of the official Twitter follow buttons (cut and past into the site). In both cases the new window only opens after pressing/clicking the button twice.
The browser is: Google Chrove v 17.0.963.56

see the same thing, in Safari and Firefox. Even though the rollover says to open in a new window.

I second (or ‘third’) that.

Happens to me using Chrome (latest stable build - Version 21.0.1180.89)…

I’ve implemented the buttons from API version 1 to 1.1, and it happens with the new JS versions as well as with the old iframe version…

At least I know it’s not just me…
