Twitter follow button does not show state on Windows 8 Phone

Hi,

Is it true twitter follow button cannot show the state on Windows 8 phone? As I see, even the follow button on twitter developer site does not show state change on Windows 8 phone after I following the site. It works on IE10 on Windows though.

Is this a known issue? If so, is there a work around?
