Twitter DM Events Rate-Limiting

Hi,

We’re seeing many of our users encountering rate-limiting through the GET direct_messages/events/list endpoint although we’re only making 7.5 calls per 15 minute window per user access token. I see in the documentation that there can sometimes be issues with memcached, but we are seeing this consistently for around 5% of our users.

Any way to debug this? Can provide you with access_tokens if there is a way to do this confidentialy?

Thanks for the speedy reply. Any more info on this? As mentioned, we can provide you with more information such as access tokens if there is a confidential way to do this? It’s affecting around 500 of our users so we’re interested in getting to the bottom of it.
