I have a question, I have 4 accounts (for some client), each with a generated app. In operation 6 years ago, with the same use all, send and receive direct messages via api (rest).
For the four, ask for access in the new developer portal. Indicating that the use will remain the same (processing of direct messages), now taking advantage of the new features in real time (Account Activity API).
But in 3 of them they rejected it to me, saying that it is not a valid “use case”. Being that generating chatboots is allowed, why did not they approve me? How do I reapply for access?

All of our developer applications are reviewed to ensure compliance with Twitter policy. While we can’t comment on specific cases, applications may be rejected if they are found to be in violation of any section of the Developer Agreement and Policy, Automation Rules, Display Requirements, and/or the Twitter Rules.

Additional information on restricted uses of Twitter APIs is available here.

There currently isn’t a way to edit a rejected application, or to re-apply, however stay informed for product updates/changes.

The use that we propose is a “chatboot”, in the same documentation of the api “account activity” give an example of it. But we were rejected anyway. The only use that is given / would be the processing of direct messages.
Is this forbidden or did they not understand the order we made? Thanks for the help.

I don’t know the specifics of your use case, but we are also not commenting on specific applications.
