Thanks for your reply, but I am not sure how the robots.txt rules on my server could have such an effect: as you can see at http://www.maharaj.org/robots.txt the sum total of the file is

USER-AGENT: *
DISALLOW:

which explicitly authorises any and all crawlers to access and index any and all content at the site. I note from https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/10926 that several other people with IIS servers are encountering exactly the same problem I have described here.

Just in case this helps anyone, our blog (http://blog.pinkcakebox.com) was denied application because of an error (received an automated email from Twitter).

After testing using the preview tool,we found out that the two OG:IMAGE tags we had in our header was causing twitter issues (was generating a 404).

So we removed one and that seems to have fixed the issue.

I got 2 domains approved yesterday, www.skiing.ie & www.blackdog.ie but when tested on the twitter web interface it didn’t work.

Got 1 domain approvied: www.looplr.com . Yesterday when I’ve checked preview tool it was working ok. But today card doesn’t fit in iframe dimensions.

However, there is one problem I see. Why does the card have the Twitter username ‘@robin’ at the bottom? My username is ‘@Rob_in’ (with underscore). No-where at all is the name ‘robin’ mentioned in my card details. I have even used the UID in “twitter:creator:id” to make sure there is no ambiguity.

Is twitter parsing other details on this page and using details other than those in the card meta-data? I only ask as my website has an email address at the bottom which could be mistakenly found and interpreted as a Twitter user.

We were recently asked to resubmit. When we use the preview tool we now get a 406 with the image and we can’t see an obvious cause at our end. Having read this topic (https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/10926) it seems to be a recurring issue. Do we need to change anything at our server end or is this issue being looked at by Twitter? Hi,

We were testing our approved website and we can’t get the video displayed. Our tags are ok but we keep getting this error:

Fetcher response code: OK
MISSING_TAG: twitter:player

I have just been approved for my domain, mywebsite.com. I thought this would automatically pull in all things based on that domain, such as content.mywebsite.com, but apparently not. Do I have to be approved for each branch of my domain?

You might have to reapply with *.mywebsite.com. I have read about it either in this or another thread. Can’t remember.

Hi, our domain (wordofhouse.com) got approved for summary and photo cards yesterday. The preview tool is showing our photos fine. However, when I tweet there is no photo displayed (see https://en.twitter.com/ReshNesh/status/251327455552491521).

oOOps… I am sorry!

Today I realized that the problem was due by a little bug in my php.
After fixed this, the cards can be attached to tweets with no problems.

Any update on this yet? I’m still stuck here and everything I do makes no difference. I just don’t get it, I’m desperate to get this fixed and running again. It was working perfectly fine and just stopped! I’ve made every change and tweak and suggestion you’ve given me, but absolutely no change or progress. I’m getting more and more frustrated because I’ve done everything and really would like to get this back in working order yet no progress. Any help yet? Thank you.

Hello Sylvain,

Yesterday you guys sent us an email asking us to resubmit our twitter card request, stating that our submitted URL was incomplete. However, when we tested it at https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/preview

it came back fine.

I just resubmitted it and I got a screen that said: “We will get back to you when we are ready to add more partners.”
