can you have a look–we put the height and width. but for example if we replace the og:image with this (to test) it works fine

I’m getting the same error - gallery card, various sizes of images, simple filenames (e.g. 1.jpg) no query strings, no CDN, just plain old images on a plain old server.

Actually, I’m good - was missing the :src after my images.

My images are served via SlideShowPro (http://slideshowpro.net/products/slideshowpro_director/), which serves them correctly regarding MIME type etc.

Also facing this issue with an image from Flickr. Have tried different sizes, and not specifying the pixels within /…/… and also specifying them. Nothing works. Always says Unkown Aspect Ratio.

Hopefuly @jbulava or someone else at Twitter can help us out o this…

So this may not be related to Azure at all.

Okay another update on my work. As suggested by @jellybabynet I added a robot.txt file to our test server and now the card validates. No idea why that helps.

However what do do for our images that come from Azure as obviously I cannot add a robots.txt file there.

Anyone in Twitter able to help us on this?

My errors changed from “unknown aspect ratio” to “blocked by robots.txt”. Once I allowed the folder, I was able to validate.

However, I think it’s a mistake for Twitter to not allow images that are blocked by robots.txt. My understanding is that that file is designed to disallow robots from crawling the site, not to disallow sites to reference and use assets within those folders. This seems to be a mis-use of robots.txt on Twitter’s part.
