I don’t know why but shop.oreilly.com was not in our active whitelist. It is now and your cards render correctly (I just checked with both links).

The application was for www.center-of-my-universe.com but the links to center-of-my-universe.com (without www). These are technically not the same. Anyhow, fixed this for you, works now.

@froginthevalley this seems like an extremely common error that people are having, don’t you think domains should just automatically get whitelisted for www.example.com and example.com. It is like when you buy an SSL certificate for example.com, most companies automatically add the SSL certificate to work for www.example.com as well.

Hi, I just got an email that said Summary and Photo cards have been activated for hd-trailers.net.

I just tried tweeting a url, but the Twitter Card isn’t showing up.

The page referenced has twitter:image set, but the image does not appear in the card or in the preview. This is true (in both preview and live) for all twitter:image link tags across the site.

An oddity is that the image is being served via Amazon Cloudfront, but that doesn’t seem like it should be an issue. I’ve checked robots.txt.

I think that the form itself is misleading: you just ask for the domain name, and you even put “example.com” as an example, not “www.example.com”.

I second Stuart’s suggestion above, and/or you could slightly change the description of that form entry, making clear that “example.com” is different from “www.example.com”, and changing the example itself.

Did you get accepted for hd-trailers.net or www.hd-trailers.net because they are considered different. I you want both to work you need to request twitter card access with *.hd-trailers.net
