Twitter Cards: I have a problem, help me!

Did the steps for a twitter summary card, been approved, however the twitter cards not appearing on tweets, even though it’s showing on the preview:

Any ideas on where we’re going wrong?

I got two email messages. The first one, several weeks ago for the domain mondo3.com

Some days ago I requested whitelisting also for the shortener domain (tre.li) and I got the same confirmation email.

After some more time, I decided to ask for help here

and I received the whitelist email, but the cards are not showing up.
Though, it is showing the thumbnail.

I have gone over my code again and again, and it looks fine to me in the preview page.Twitter keeps sending me “Unfortunately we determined that your application was incomplete and needs to be resubmitted.” - no real error message, just “go to the preview link”.
I’m using wordpress and the only part I’ve seen discrepancies on people’s blogs about twitter cards for WP is on the - some try and put a link to the twitter name while others just put the twitter name.
I have the code only on “single pages” - everyone seems to be doing that in their examples for WP. An example of the code can be in source at: http://street-fashion.net/photos/hair-today-gone-tomorrow-new-and-old-hair-styles-on-the-street/

When I put the url into the preview tool I got an Image error so I put the meta tags from your site into the preview tool and got a more accurate error:
Validation failed for image with width = 320px, height = 240px. Square images must have dimensions of at least 262x262. 16:9 images must have dimensions of at least 350x196. Url: http://tamoregon.s3.amazonaws.com/twitter_1355237750491-10067-1031_1355237695432.thumbnail.jpg
The error is that your thumbnail image is too small:

The current width is 320px and for a 16:9 images the minimum width needs to be 350px.
The current height is 240px and for a square image the minimum height needs to be 262px.
I tried the exact same tags but replaced the image tag url with a random photo url that was at least 350x196 for a 16:9 or 262x262 for a square image and the card loaded with no problem.

The test url you specified seems to work fine for me, it shows a summary card like you specified on your site. However in the preview tool it gives the following error for your url:
"Missing Tag: twitter:description"
So I looked at your code and I found this:

I am using a twitter player card with an iframe flash player. I noticed the z-index issue where the video players over the nav bar on twitter when the video should be beneath it. I found in the twitter card documentation this:
"Use wmode=opaque if utilizing Flash for the twitter.com experience, so that the player renders at the correct z-index."
However I am not sure where wmode=opaque is supposed to go?

what are you using to load the flash file? you usually put it in the parameters, for example, if you’re using swfobject - you insert in there.

Hi,

I’d received the acceptance mail this morning. But there is an error in the domain name in the mail :
“Your request to be included in Twitter Cards has been approved. We’ve activated Summary and Photo cards for helloproject.eu.” but my domain is hello-project.eu with a dash --‘
So twitter card doesn’t appears… (Maybe I’d done a mistake --’)

Can someone check it please ? Or does I have to request again with participate form ?

This works in the preview tool, so it might have been a problem with fetching the image from your server when you tweeted. Try retweeting a another short link (bit.ly, goo.gl, etc) to your page, it should fix the problem.

The best way to control what image is displayed by Twitter is to use a twitter:image tag to specify what image should be shown. We support OG tags as a fall back mechanism but Twitter tags have first class status in our parser.

Just test in the preview tool at https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/preview and I saw a summary. Do you have a link to a tweet where the summary card is not showing up?

You need to make sure it works in the preview tool first, then we will review on mobile with you. Player cards are trickier to get right. You can submit a staging server subdomain for testing and we can change it to your production server once all the bugs have been ironed out.

The problem was that you had applied for mondo3.com and not www.mondo3.com, these are technically not the same. I fixed your whitelisting rule to accept both, you should be all set now (btw. this is a bit confusing, you are not the first and probably not the last with this error type).
