Here’s the problem: I can’t get to step 3 because according to the docs I need to test my twitter player card on twitter.com, twitter mobile apps etc. How do I test it on these if I haven’t submitted it and it hasn’t been approved?

Hi, I’ve got my website whitelisted last evening: summary and player both work perfectly, however the photo card doesn’t.

If I test with the dev tool it’s working, here the metadata

Hi,

I requested some time ago whitelisting for Twitter Cards for our website ( www.mondo3.com )

I also tried requesting whiteslisting for our custom shortener domain ( tre.li )

Testing with Preview tool looks fine, but cards are not appearing on Twitter (website or clients)

Any hint on what may be wrong?

You should submit a wildcard request for the domain like this *.zaragozaonline.com which will allow for every subdomain of your site to work such as example.zaragozaonline.com or www.zaragozaonline.com including just zaragozaonline.com.

You can use this link https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/preview to test your site and make sure everything is working before you submit. There is currently no way of testing on twitter mobile or in a twitter app but if they work properly in the web preview they should work ok on mobile as long as you follow the mobile guidelines carefully here https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards

You should have received an email from Twitter saying you were accepted for Twitter Cards. If you haven’t, then you have not been approved yet.

You need to find a way of using only the meta tag for one image, I can see from the code on your site that you are using the og:image tag more than once, that tag should only appear once in your code. So you need to select the 1 image that you want to have in your twitter card:

If you are wanting to keep the multiple og:image tags for something like facebook which supports it, you can put in a twitter:image tag which will take precedence over the og:image tag so you can specify the 1 image you want to use for your twitter card.

Just show an image that is relevant to the video aka a thumbnail, you do not have to make a fake player image with a thumbnail nor should you, you do not want people to think you have a broken player.

The sample url you specified does not work in the preview tool, you are specifying an image that does not exist with http://getbestdecision.com/v16/web/images/bd_feed.jpg in your og:image meta tag.
I tried using your code but with a valid image url and it worked, try this code:

Some of you tags specified are incorrect, each meta tag should have content="" but for many of your tags you have value="". Here is an example:

We were approved for a new domain, shop.oreilly.com on Friday, and summary cards still aren’t showing up. They look fine in the preview tool. We’ve been approved for a few other domains, and twitter cards are showing up for those.
