My twitter cards have been approved for the domain www.sephrimmedia.com. Everything is working properly, but only the photo won’t show when I tweet the link. ex http://www.sephrimmedia.com/gallery.php?id=2289

I’ve read the material, used the Card Validator for a number of URLs, and all have been ‘green lit’. But when I go to Request Approval, I receive the error message “Reason: is not a valid screen name”

How can I on the one hand have the URLs OK’d, but fall down at Approval?

Hi!

After reading all the material and implemented meta on the site, I tried to use the Card Validator everything goes right with ‘Try Cards’ option (with values entered manually) but when using ‘Validate URLs’ (with same values used in the previous option) I receive the ‘System error: Please try again!’ error with all URLs.

We’re still working on getting the timeouts just right with the validator – sometimes it’s that either your server is slow to respond or there is network congestion that could cause your URL to not be retrievable.

Hi! We use our own url shortener (i.e. http://arq.io/12hrs3u5uc88i > http://arqspin.com/s/12hrs3u5uc88i), but this seems to cause trouble with twitter cards (I think it doesn’t follow the redirect). Is there any work-around for this?

I’m getting an error message that the twitter:card:type is invalid when I try to validate my app website, even though it’s correctly set to “app” in the meta tags.

The same error appears in cards preview: “Invalid Card Type: twitter:card; value=app”

Is this a currently known problem?

3 hrs later:
Now it returns “The Validator does not yet support App Card”. But then how am I supposed to get my app card approved?

we are getting an error message saying our domain vibevixen.com is not approved on the validator page, when we have already received an email saying we are approved for the summary card.

I have added twitter cards to my site using the yoast plugin, and everything looks good to me. If I plug the data in to the fields in the preview app, it works, but when I analyze the URL, it fails. I don’t see why.

I keep getting rejected when I try to validate my domain (www.Cruiseline.com) and get the error message “Something went wrong and your request to be added to the whitelist failed. Please try again. Reason: is not a valid screen name” even though everything is correct. Can someone please tell me why?

March 21st I received an email from you stating that my submission had been approved.

When I test the originiating page with the card validator, it says that my domain has not been approved.

What should I do?

Hi, I tried going through all the steps in this process, but the validator is choking on my urls. The old preview tool actually worked, but not the validator. When I add my url I always get this error:

“System error: Please try again!”

However, when I add in all the info line by line into the “Try Cards” tab of the validator, it actually works.

I literally cut and paste this info by viewing source from the url itself, so the correct info is there, but the validator seems to object to it or something. I’m on Wordpress using the official Facebook plugin as well as Yoast SEO for the twitter card integration.

The validator tool shows my preview photo card okay, but when I try to “Request Approval”, I keep getting the error “Something went wrong… Internal error when processing the whitelist request”

I’m trying to request approval for my domain as nemontemi.net / *.nemontemi.net, but the card I’m using on the validator tool is on a sub domain (pic.nemontemi.net). I’m doing this because if I try to validate only the sub domain, I get the error “Invalid domain pattern”. Could this be part of the problem?

Ideally, I’d like for the domain (not just the sub domain) to be whitelisted.

I’ve recently been approved for twitter cards on my site, I applied with a subfolder within my domain. For example www.mysite.com/me. I am now implementing twitter cards on the rest of my domain, do i have to re-apply for approval for the whole domain or has my entire domain been approved?
