In the beginning of January, I submitted a twitter cards application. Upon signup for the program, I was told that it would take 5-10 days to review the application. That, however, wasn’t the case. I didn’t get a response until I posted a message here on the discussions page about a month later.
All worked great until yesterday, the day before our big launch, when we received an email stating that our implementation no longer worked. To verify, I checked and saw that the twitter cards preview tool no longer liked my url. I googled the error and I came to a conclusion that it was a Twitter Cards problem, not mine. Not changing a thing, I tried it 24 hours later and it worked. Then, I tried about an hour after that and I got the same darn twitter error.
I resent in my cards application and posted on the forums and have yet to receive a reply. If I’m lucky, I will get twitter cards working within the next year or so. It’s just ridiculous that there is no one to talk to or email about this problem. Again, we released today and we are seeing that alot of people sharing our short URLs, and our twitter cards implementation is not working.
As it appears, our images might be blacklisted in your system. I have tried pictures on different websites, and they seem to work just fine. However, it’s off & on. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I have read through the docs 100 times, and I’m doing everything right.
Please advise ASAP,
Coulton
