Twitter Cards: I have a problem, help me!

The twitter card application for my website (pecographe.com) has now been approved but is not working. Could you investigate to see what is wrong?

Hello,

I had applied back in December and I noticed the Summary was working. But now no matter if i post direct tweet to twitter, hootsuite, tweetdeck, etc. The summary now longer shows.
I just checked your preview page, and it says i am missing the description, but it is there.

Good morning! I am curious in the status of approval for @midlothianisd. I submitted several weeks ago and assumed the cards were working but the preview is showing something else. Please let me know what I need to do to get approval. Thanks in advance!

All is working well.
Can I just state for everyone else’s information that if you tweet using your chosen whitelisted URL, the twitter card does not show up as soon as you publish. it may take up to a minute or so before it is displayed as on my timeline from today.

What are some other causes for the twitter card reader to reject our URL?

It looks like there’s something odd with our configuration. When someone tweets a link.brightcove.com url the summary card is always attributed to me (@regandc). Is there any way to change this? I see in the documentation that the <meta name=“twitter:site” field is not required. Can @regandc be removed from the brightcove.com configuration?

On Jan 17th I submitted our Player Card (Summary and Photo Cards had already been prior approved). Today is Feb 11th and would like to check on status. Our Player Card is unique as video is not the content delivered and did not know if that was any cause of delay.

I applied about 4 weeks ago for http://meilleurereponse.com and http://betteranswer.com but I did not get any feedback about their status. Both websites appear to show correct output with the test tool: http://meilleurereponse.com/?qid=MTgzODkw and http://betteranswer.com/?qid=MTc3MDk2

Is there something that is wrong with these cards that I need to fix to get them approved ?

Howdy! I had submitted a player card application and was notified today that Twitter has “activated Summary and Photo cards for www.egraphs.com.”

First of all, yay! But we were hoping for player card functionality. Can you please approve us for player cards instead?

I’m testing some metadata with the Preview Tool at https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/preview. It is displaying an error message stating my image is invalid:
Invalid Url: twitter:image; value=http://avaaz_images.s3.amazonaws.com/4032_John%20Kerry_1_459x230.png

Here is the metadata I am using:

However, if I move the image to another server, it works fine:

The image loads fine in my browser:

And there’s no robots.txt file on that host.

The way a server handles spaces in filenames is dependent on the configuration of this specific server. Just to be safe, we recommend that you omit spaces from your paths and filenames.

Nowhere in the documentation does it say that some otherwise valid URLs are not accepted by your parser/tool.

Please document this until it’s fixed.
Please escalate to engineering for further evaluation and an real fix.

You should receive an email once your site is approved (or rejected).

You will get an email when your domain is approved (or if you need to fix something and re-submit).
