Twitter Cards for the Layman?

I have a SquareSpace site with a blog I’m trying to use twitter cards for our twitter account

Under SquareSpace 7 Settings > Advanced > Code Injection, I inserted the following:

< meta name="twitter:card" content="summary" >
< meta name="twitter:creator" content="@ePOCUS" >
< meta name="twitter:domain" content="" >
< meta name="twitter:site" content="@ePOCUS" >
< meta name="twitter:description" content="View the full post on P2Talk." />

I’ve received the validation with the following log:
INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 14 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary tag found
INFO: Card loaded successfully

However — when I make a new post, I don’t see the twitter card come up on the Twitter account. I have browsed these forums, and just can’t find an answer. I have no doubt I’m doing something wrong. Any help would be awesome!

Thank you,

I just tweeted a link to one of your posts and the summary card shows up fine in the tweet detail view. You have to click the “view summary” link in the bottom corner of the Tweet so see the card. You’re all set!

Thank you very much Andy! I see it’s worked. I’m going to try adding more of the Twitter Cards, like the photo, gallery and player. The player seems a bit more challenging, so I’ll be sure to hang around these forums.

Take care!
