I’m on MediaTemple (via Synthesis) as well There is a possibility that MediaTemple is blocking Twitter IPs. They have done so in the past. But I’ll let @andypiper investigate and see what Twitter comes up with.

You may want to open up a ticket with MT, and see if other users are finding the same thing.

Did you check to see whether your host is blocking inbound Twitter IPs (like the other people on this thread?)

I am unable to assist further as both Twitter-owned, and non-Twitter-owned, hosts are unable to connect to your host.

As you told me to contact the hosting provider I contact them and they said to tell the twitter which port no is they are are using the want know about that,

Please pass this issue to engineering team so the can investigate them on this issue . because my hosting provider is saying the are not blocking anything at hosting end and the same thing is said by domain provider so please look into this issue

Twitter’s ASN is 13414 and our IP ranges are documented in the troubleshooting page.

“please provide the endpoints used by the Twitter and the require ports to establish a connection"
and
"please confirm from Twitter which ports they use to “crawl” back to your instance besides 80”
