Twitter Card Validation Period?

Is there still a validation period for the cards to appear on my twitter? I’m seeing my site as whitelisted but when I share a post from my site or look at my page from an external account the cards are not showing the featured image. I am using Yoast SEO plugin to add meta data.

If you click on the View Summary link you’ll see the image. The images should show up in the timeline in the mobile Twitter apps.
