Twitter card taking 2 minutes to load/fetch

I am trying to share a site on Twitter with all the appropriate metatags.
It’s working great using “twitter:image” and “twitter:description”. However it takes around 2 minutes. In the meanwhile I just see the link posted, not the twitter card.

Other sites works instantaneously, like CNN.

Any help?
