Twitter Card scraper bugged

Seems there might be an issue with the twitter scaper. Let me explain:

While Validating this url:
http://flim.me/@greenme (use “Twitterbot/1.0” User-Agent)

everything seems fine.

Now try

http://flim.me/@40tvfacts (also bot User-Agent)

the validator shows:

INFO: Page fetched successfully
WARN: No metatags found

But that is wrong. Use Chrome with “Twitterbot/1.0” User-Agent and you’ll see almost same info.

Now comes the strange part…
I found out that whenever I add a “ä”, “ö” or “ü” it works, while if it is missing the card wont render.

Any suggestions?

I hotfixed it by adding a “ä” to the body. But seem a bit unprofessional
