Twitter Card Not Whitelisted

Does anyone see an issue with this Twitter Card code? The validator fails and says ERROR: Card validation failed with the reason that hopconferences.com is not whitelisted? What is whitelisted mean and how do I ensure that my site is?

You’re not specifying a valid card type in the first tag. You probably want a summary or summary_large_image card.

Hmmm, I simplified the card tag using just Hope Conferences, but it’s still not validating.
