Twitter card multiple accounts

#1

Hey API community—

We recently added metadata for Twitter summary cards on our domain http://technical.ly

For our news site, we utilize a multi-site Wordpress installation that has, for now, four markets that we cover, organized in directories.
“National” news: root, http://technical.ly
Brooklyn news: directory, http://technical.ly/brooklyn
Philadelphia news: directory, http://technical.ly/philly
Baltimore news: directory, http://technical.ly/baltimore

The metadata has been properly installed and validated for all of those installations.

Each market has its own Twitter account, because we curate local conversations through that account. We noticed the new verification process for cards, but the form only allows you to submit access for one Twitter account.

Our Twitter accounts for those above properties:
“National” news: @Technical_ly
Brooklyn news: @TechnicallyBK
Philadelphia news: @TechnicallyPHL
Baltimore news: @TechnicallyBMR

How do we go about providing access for all accounts?

Thank you!

Some progress here, but still some confusion.

We did get the validation accepted, so cards are now working.

We could only apply via the one-site domain: technical.ly, though I applied with a Technical.ly Philly story as the validator and used the Technical_ly domain as the Twitter account

Here’s how this is playing out w/ our different markets:

National: https://twitter.com/technical_ly/status/435172291925004288
Says “View on Web” and has Technical_ly as the Twitter account/icon

Philly: https://twitter.com/technicallyphl/status/434432272222392321
Says “View on Technical.ly Philly” and has Technical_ly as the Twitter account/icon

Baltimore: https://twitter.com/technicallybmr/status/434432405718712320
Says “View on Web” and has Technical_ly as the Twitter account/icon

Brooklyn: https://twitter.com/technicallybk/status/434385652486905856
Says “View on Web” and has Technical_ly as the Twitter account/icon

The ideal functionality is that each directory (each market) would link to its own Twitter account and would say “View on Technical.ly [MARKET]” as it does in Philly above.

Cool, would love any help!

Thank you!
