Twitter Card Image Not Showing in Production Site but Shows in Staging Site

We have a situation where the image is showing for an article on our staging environment but not on the sam e article in our production environment. Twitter meta tags are setup the same way only difference is that staging is http and production is https but I would think if anything then the staging environment would be the one were the image didn’t show but ironically its production. We also checked that the robots.txt is the same on both staging and prod. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looking at the SSL config, I think there’s likely to be an issue where the crawler cannot fetch those images due to the protocols not being sufficiently strong. I’m seeing the validator report “other errors” when I try to check the prod URL, and that’s almost always a sign of an SSL issue.

Thanks Andy! Weird thing is everything was fine until a few days ago and we haven’t made any updates to either the Twitter tags or our SSL certificate. Well in regards to our SSL cert…there haven’t been any changes to our knowledge. We do have an open ticket with our hosting provider to verify for sure.Maybe that will help us uncover the issue.
