Twitter Card Error: Internal Server Error

We are having this same issue. We have validated Cards on all our sites and they are all on the same server and they are all subdomains. This is also a subdomain and we have the same setup technically with this site as the others. We are at a loss. Anyone have a fix?

An update has been pushed for the validator to hopefully resolve most instances where “ERROR: Internal Server Error” would be returned. Please give it a try and let me know whether or not you are still experiencing issues!

Very interesting. I started having this issue a few hours ago and have been trying to troubleshoot and within the last 10 minutes things have started working!

I was able to successfully validate: https://www.picapol.com/poll/402

This URL was having the “Error: Internal Server Error” just a few hours ago. I take it something is being changed at the moment with the validator tool.

That’s correct, the engineering team has pushed an update this afternoon.

And now it’s back to that same error again. And I have not made any changes since it was working. I may hang tight for a few hours and let the dust settle while they are working on this.

Hi there. I’m having the same problem as many others. Internal Server Error. I am using an IP address rather than a fully qualified URL and I wonder if this is the problem? If this is the case, what could I do apart from actually deploying changes LIVE in order to be able to validate my cards? It would be good to be able to validate my data while in dev. Does anybody know about this please? Thanks

If you look at the source code you can clearly see all the correct meta tags there.

If you guys using cloudflare, pause the site you want to validate and will work.
Now works for me. Hope this helps.
