I’m working on a photo card for an area of my site but when I try validating the card, it craps out on the image src and says that the URL is invalid. I’ve tested it and I can get to the URL in the tag just fine so I’m not sure what the issue is. Here is the URL with the meta tags: http://uat.cm.project.bcs.canada.bayer.velir.com/Pest-Library/Diseases.aspx. This is the image that it complains about: http://uat.cm.project.bcs.canada.bayer.velir.com/~/media/Bayer CropScience/Country-Canada-Internet/Content/healthy_innovation_02.jpg
I’ve tried with a few different images wondering if maybe there was an issue with the dimensions, but that seemed to have no effect. I also attempted using twitter:image vs twitter:image:src but both resulted in the card failing validation on the image URL.
<meta property="twitter:card" content="photo" /> <meta property="twitter:site" content="@aaa" /> <meta property="twitter:title" content="Pest Gallery" /> <meta property="twitter:image:src" content="http://uat.cm.project.bcs.canada.bayer.velir.com/~/media/Bayer CropScience/Country-Canada-Internet/Content/healthy_innovation_02.jpg" /> <meta property="twitter:description" content="Gallery Description" />
Does anyone have an idea what’s wrong? Any advice is appreciated,
