Twitter button with view count

Hi,

I was wondering if I choose to place the tweet button on my website WITHOUT the view count, will I still be able to measure/monitor the tweets? And if yes, how do I do that?

Basically, I want to hide the counts on the site, but I still want to be able to access it privately. Is this possible?
