Twitter Button missing

Hello:

I am a NOVICE and creating my first website using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6.

I’ve tried to copy paste the code to have a Twitter button appear on my website. I copy and paste the code provided by Twitter and it adds the word Tweet (underlined) on my webpage, but I want your Twitter Button. How do I get it to work?

The widgets are made to be viewed while being served by a web server. While you’re developing in Dreamweaver, your site is just being served from the local filesystem.

If you want to be able to preview the results in this environment, try changing your code slightly – this will instruct the widget to load in HTTPS:
