Twitter breaks my html head

I’m using textpattern as a CMS, and in one section of my website twitter breaks my code adding a span class, and pasting the rest on the beginning of the body

This is the right property:

<meta property="og:description" content=" Can you imagine the day that AIDS is defeated? This video shows a way this could happen" />

And this is the resulting code after the twitter changes:

<meta property="og:description" content=" Can you imagine the day that &lt;span class=" caps"="">

and then the rest of the head is going to the body

<body data-twttr-rendered="true">AIDS is defeated? This video shows a way this could happen" /&gt;

What’s going on?

That’s a TextPattern bug, not Twitter JavaScript. The ‘span class=“caps”’ code that’s being injected into your title (because of the all-caps word) is added by the Textile mark-up parser on the server-side.

All of our mark-up modifications with widgets-js happen using the DOM methods in the browser, we do not alter the serialized form of your page.
