Hey guys, I’m an NFT artist and I joined twitter not long ago (less than a month) with my handle @butterflybaes to engage with the NFT community and being part of the NFT world.
Everything was working great until about a day ago when the account got suspended, all followers removed etc.
I operate my own account and it’s not a bot nor is it spam at all, I’m a human that’s running the account!
I didn’t get an email notification about the suspension yesterday either, it just gives me a suspension notification in my mobile app without mentioning any possible reasons.
I went to the twitter website terms to see if I violated any terms and I don’t see anything matching my account:
- Creating serial and/or multiple accounts with overlapping uses
- Evading a permanent suspension by creating or using another account
- Cross-posting Tweets or links across multiple accounts
- Aggressive following, particularly through automated means
I haven’t crossed any tweet limit stated in the rules or any follow limit or dm limit. I’ve just been posting about my art that’s it. The tweet limit is 2400 a day and I’ve done a total of 1400 tweets total in about 30 days - that’s no way near the limit.
Is it really how they handle things? No clear explanation about what is potentially wrong to help us fix it?
I don’t even know what to tell my community and followers, I’m bam smack in the middle of my NFT project and this suspension has set me back considerably given that the whole NFT community is on Twitter. All I can do is tell my community “I don’t really know why, twitter suspended my account”?
What can I do now? There’s no point in creating another account because all my tweets and followers are on that account
It’s very inconvenient and rude and not friendly at all to treat an upcoming artist this way, we don’t disturb, don’t auto follow or anything, we just tweet, I don’t see where the break of the rules occurred…all I did was post about my art NFT (personal that I made and own)
Can you guys please unsuspend my Twitter account @butterflybaes
