The form submissions on the blog section of twitter are a nightmare, at least for me when using firefox on desktop and firefox mobile on phone. I had similar, although slightly better experience when using chrome on desktop, but this is a serious problem (imho) and I have no idea where to report it.
I looked at all the info in the footer, and this seems to be the closest place to report an issue that I can find, apologies if there is a better place and I am not seeing it.
The forms, for example on https://blog.twitter.com/official/en_us/topics/company/2018/Creating-new-policies-together.html - when I fill it out and click submit, nothing seems to happen.
firefox on phone and on desktop, if I click again and again and look real close, sometimes a little spinny thing appears to move the submit button over a little, then nothing.
I really expected a “thanks, submission successful” or some kind of error messaging, but nothing.
When I tested with chrome on desktop, I did see a yellow error / warning on one of the fields when typing, so it appears to do some errror checking and on-screen display of issues… but I saw nothing of the kind with firefox.
This particular poll and form submission I think is pretty important, and to think that many others may not be able to chime in with information because some looked-over UX issues is bothersome.
Again if this is a bad place to mention this, will someone please forward this to a better location? I made some screen cap videos showing what I’ve seen when trying this, I could convert and post, but I would imagine that the coding peeps around here don’t need that to see that it could be better.
thanks!
