Twitter Background Image

When modifying the profile background image of Twitter either via the Twitter website or the Twitter REST API nothing changes.

If not why has it not been removed from both the REST API and twitter.com?

Thanks andy, so you think this endpoint no longer works, why is it still available from the Twitter website?

You can access it via Settings > Desing > Customize your own > Change Background

Not sure, I’d have to ask the product team what the status is. Until I can figure it out, the API doc will be offline.

(I’ll be very busy with #HelloWorld London events this week, so I may not be able to look into this in detail very quickly)
