I’m using a weebly website and have embedded the following code on this page: http://www.bluevinesolutions.com
Twitter card
<meta name="twitter:card" content="app">
<meta name="twitter:description content="Did you forget something today? BUZL it!">
<meta name="twitter:app:country" content="US">
<meta name="twitter:app:name:iphone" content="BUZL">
<meta name="twitter:app:id:iphone" content="907738125">
<meta name="twitter:app:url:iphone" content="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/buzl/id907738125?mt=8&uo=4">
<meta name="twitter:app:name:ipad" content="BUZL">
<meta name="twitter:app:id:ipad" content="907738125">
<meta name="twitter:app:url:ipad" content="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/buzl/id907738125?mt=8&uo=4">
It’s not working whether I use http://www.bluevinesolutions.com or the itunes link above.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, @buzlapp
The card validates fine and your domain is approved.
You have a small error - you have missed the closing quote on the “twitter:description” tag.
I just tweeted a link to your site from my test account, and the card appears when I click the “view details” link at the bottom of the tweet. Working as expected, but slightly broken as the description is not currently being set properly.
Hello @andypiper!
I appreciate the catch on the description tag!
I’m using twitter on iPad and iPhone, and I don’t see a “view details” link?
Would a tiny URL to either my domain above or itunes link still show the card?
Thanks!
@buzlapp
Works great. On iPad or iPhone, tap into the tweet to see details. You should find the App Store link underneath your main tweet.
