Twitter APIs and commercial use for analytics



I’ve searched in the discussions and in the rules but it’s still not clear to me. Is it allowed to use the twitter APIs (streaming and search) to produce analytics (e.g. volumety) for commercial use ?

The range of tweets we’re watching is very narrow so the twitters APIs are more than sufficient for now. Even if we migrate to one of twitter’s partners in the future, is it ok to use the APIs freely for now and sell a product based on them ?

Use to verify with the policy team that what you’re doing is permissible by the terms of service.

Typically if you’re deriving data and building a business on it, then that’s OK. If you’re distributing Twitter Content or Twitter Data, then you might be on shakier ground.
