Twitter Anywhere with Chrome Extension

#1

Is there anyway to use a simple tweetbox in a Chrome Extension? The main hurdle now is the Callback URL. Because it is an extension the callback can’t be set properly. Here is the error:

Sorry, something went wrong.
The provided callback url chrome-extension://aegpdmippbchacjkhdnddjjpnphcjebj/popup.html is not authorized for the client registered to ‘http://www.fac.fm/apps/twitter.html’.

Any help?

If you put a placeholder URL as the callback for your application settings, you can change the value to chrome-extension:// URIs by specifying oauth_callback when getting a request token.

BTW, some jerk who used to work on Chrome wrote an OAuth library which should work with Twitter: http://code.google.com/chrome/extensions/tut_oauth.html
