Hi Devs,

Would like to ask why is our ads api not appearing in the connected apps in twitter. Our handle name is @incontact and the app id is 21419754. Thank you!

HI @osowskit1, would like to seek your help on above question. thank you!

It looks like this app ID has access to the Ads API. Could you describe what connected apps are and what errors you are seeing?

what we are trying to do is to bring back the ads api to the connected apps. please see the image for reference. thank you!

Connected Apps represent third party applications that implement support for Twitter’s APIs and have granted the application to access their account. You would need to visit the application to re-authorize their app.

These forums are intended for API support and would suggest reaching out to the partner for support

Thank you for the reply, we would like to confirm where we can re visit the application to re - authorized the app? also would like to ask if its more easier for us if we apply new application? thank you!

I apologize but am unclear what problem you are having.

If you are developing a Twitter App, they should show up under https://developer.twitter.com/en/portal/dashboard

If you have an existing app, please apply for Ads API here Getting Started | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform

@osowskit1 would like to ask is it possible to move this app id to another twitter account?
app id = 21419754
Old twitter = incontact
New twitter = CXone

Thank you!

Hi @kendp, this could be possible. We cannot do this via the developer forums, but you can open a ticket with the API support team via the help pages. You will need to be logged in as the owning user in order to transfer your key / app to another account. I would recommend including a note about the Ads API access in the extra information field if your current app has that access.
