Twitch large image/any image sumarry card image help

I have built a twitter card for my twitch stream, but there is no image. How do i add the image? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Well I tried using this:

I really know nothing about coding. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

You appear to have the image url in the description meta tag, that should be used to describe the contents of the page, use twitter:image:src for the image. e.g.:

I want to set it so that every time i tweet my stream that photo shows up.

Hi,

Your stream is twitch.tv/thatavsgamer? I couldn’t see the twitter card meta tags on that page.

It should just be a case that once the meta tags are in place on your page you get it approved via the twitter cards validator and when you are white-listed you should be good to go, paste that twitch.tv/thatavsgamer into a tweet and it should be picket up.

Note that it appears you to have to use the “Show Preview” link on a tweet to actually get it expanded to show the contents (e.g. your image), not sure if this is true for all cards.

Thanks for the response. This is what I get when I tweet my stream. How do I add the meta tags to my twitch page?

Is there any way that i can auto-add a picture to go along with my twitter card whenever i tweet out my stream?

Twitch has already included the meta data in your profile page. However, you will not be able to update what they have chosen to display on your behalf since you cannot change the source code of Twitch.tv.

We’ve worked with their engineers to integrate cards on their site and they are a great team. If you would like it to display something different I would recommend providing them feedback on their community forum if they have one.
