Earlier this year I was able to search tweets from about a year ago, now I’m unable to due to the 6-9 days limit, Is there a way I can generate the tweets for exactly 12 month on a given geolocation with a 15miles radius?
This is definitely not the case. The Twitter API has always been limited to 6-9 days of Tweets. This has never changed. For more data, please talk to Twitter’s Gnip data team.
Thanks for your quick answer, I generated through R and Rapidminer tweets on some US conventions dates for a political analysis but now I can’t using the same tools and they were treated as API’s, any suggestion on this?
I do not understand. Your original question said that you previously were able to obtain more than 6-9 days of Tweets. Please explain your public API issue.
The alternative is Gnip data.
