It has .(dot) infront of the username(test_a_bit) . But in twitter we didnt specify any .(dot) while replying. Please clarify this.

As far as I know Twitter won’t add dots to the text of tweets.
Try it in https://dev.twitter.com/rest/tools/console twitter api console. Get tweet info by using this id 854289786953191424 with “tweet_mode=extended”. You will get this response.
This may be a side effect of the effort not to change the fan-out rules for simplified replies. I am not certain.
