Hi,
I was wondering is there any plan to implement this feature? I realized that the only way right now to upload a picture to twitter is through POST statuses/update_with_media, but Im really missing a lightweight end-user friendly approach here, without having the user to authorize apps and such. Im thinking about an extra parameter for the intents, e.g.: https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=Upload%20a%20photo!&img=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.picture.com/picture.jpg
Is this really something that only I’m missing? Thank you in advance.
Everyone is missing it. It doesn’t exist. You can’t even get the upload button on the web intents. Tragic.
ok
That would actually be very nice. Can you point me to some documentation explaining what you described here? “I realized that the only way right now to upload a picture to twitter is through POST statuses/update_with_media” Thanks.
The docs are here https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/post/statuses/update_with_media
However, it’s a totally different flow than a simple intent.
