Every twitter user profile page (For example, https://twitter.com/arpitshah99), shows tweet count. ( please see the screenshot attached). I like to understand how exactly these count is calculated and how accurate it is. I have seen the count doesn’t match with actual tweets. hence I like to have a bit deep understanding on how the that count is calculated? What is the algorithm for showing the tweet count for the user profile?
How do I make sure the delta between actual tweets and the count for the user profile?
