Tweet button text appearing on Twitter with the plus sign (+) between words

Hi there, we recently added the Tweet button to Allrecipes.co.uk. When users use the Tweet button, however, the text that is generated has plus signs (+) between each word. For example, if someone uses the Tweet button on the page for our Cheesy Bacon Muffins recipe, the text that is generated shows up as Cheesy+Bacon+Muffins.

How can we get rid of the plus sign between each word in the recipe title? We’d really like to see Cheesy Bacon Muffins, not Cheesy+Bacon+Muffins.

Hi Diana,

For the iframe that you’re generating on the page, you need to encode the spaces in your article title as %20, not as +—The + is getting double-encoded as it goes through the various steps of the flow.
