Tweet button is static (non-clickable) but counter works, why?

I copied the code from the twitter resource page and put a tweet-button on this page http://westander.ecothinking.org. The button still counts tweets perfectly fine. But I can’t click it and I can’t figure out what the problem is. Everything else on the site is working.

I’d really appreciate if someone could give me a clue about this.

Ok, so there was a CSS problem.
Note to self: padding can cover up other elements making buttons unusable.

I’ve been banging my head against the wall for the past 2 days on a very similar issue. However, in this case, it was because I needed to make the div that held my twitter button (relative) in position. In either case, that is a bug in the twitter js scripts. We should not have to modify our code to work with Twitter’s button. Good looking out, @ecologythinking!
