*.tumblr.com twitter photo card still being "folded" (shown as link and expands when clicked)

Hi,

Have been struggling the last 2 days to get my twitter photo cards to work. No dice. Please help!

I’m following the instructions from here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/twitter-cards-for-cms-wordpress-blogger-tumblr#tumblr

Viewing the page source it looks ok:

I added the url to the twitter card validator. Everything is green and it reads *.tumblr.com approved

However, when I tweet the url http://bluntlabs.tumblr.com/post/73583110263, then go to https://twitter.com/bluntlabs to see the card, it’s still “folded”. I still have to click the “View photo” card to expand it.

I would expect that the card would be embedded/expanded, just as it looks in the twitter card validator.

It turns out that now I can just upload a pic it will get embedded/expanded.

No need for all this card stuff anymore.

Currently, this is the expected behavior. Only Vine and pic.twitter.com photos auto-expand at this time.

How come my pic.twitter photos have the “View photo” link?

My site is validated but cards and images that I tweet are not pre-expanded. What do I have to do?
