Too big interstitial in iPad 2 simulator

I have a problem with interstitial ads in iPad 2 simulator - the ads are too big and you can’t see the close button, therefore you can’t continue to use the app. It’s like this onlyin iPad 2 (simulator), on my device (iPad 3) and in other iPad simulators it works ok. Any suggestions?

Do you have more information on the specific ad that is too big? What dimensions is the image of the creative? Do you know if this happens on the actual iPad 2 device?
